Hello. My name is Judith Cox. I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and Psychotherapist in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.

I am dedicated to providing an ethical, compassionate, social work practice that is centred on the belief that each and every individual can succeed and flourish when they are provided with the support they need to move forward.

Experience

I have worked as a qualified social worker in both England and Canada for over 30 years. In addition to my private practice I work in a research based, hospital pain clinic where we research both medical and psycho-social ways of treating and managing chronic pain.

I have been in private practice since 2009 as a therapist working with couples, individuals and families dealing with mental health, relationship problems and trauma.

Qualifications

I hold an Honours degree in Linguistic and Language Pathology from Essex University in England, a Diploma in Social Work (BSW equivalent) from Plymouth University in England and a Master of Social Work from McGill University.

To further my skills I have undertaken several accredited courses to provide the best quality care for my clients
